Federico Castelluccio

IN OUR EARLY DAYS
Flower Power used 2-meter turbine blades - originally fiberglass, (later recycled ABS plastic) - with components weighing over 700 pounds. They were stunning but cumbersome to move, One highlight was working with celebrity artist, Federico Castelluccio (Furio the hitman) from The Sopranos, who pencil-sketched a blade after we hauled it by van - a process now handled by professional transport - to choose the perfect colors.
We eventually switched to a 1-meter blade with components weighing just 80 pounds, making them easy to transport, install, and paint. What hasn’t changed is our mission to promote climate action - and the passion of our artists in bringing that message to life.
